Boys Traveling Basketball
Boys Traveling Program Overview
HBA offers a traveling basketball program for boys in grades 4-8. The traveling basketball program typically runs from late October through late February or early March. Tryouts for the teams are in September. Each team practices two nights per week and each practice is typically 90 minutes.
4th & 5th grade teams will be split evenly based on tryout evaluations and coaches input. All teams will participate in 7 weekend tournaments throughout the season. ****4th grade teams will not be created until early November. 5th grade teams will be announced the week after tryouts. ****
6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams will be created based on skill level into A/B/C teams based on tryout evaluations. All 5th – 8th grade teams will participate in 7 weekend tournaments throughout the season. ****6th, 7th, 8th grade teams will be announced the week after tryouts. ****

Boys Travel Season Information

- Registration deadline is September 25
- $500 registration for the entire season
- If you register from the season, and leave your team/ program after Sept 25th, $125 will be non-refundable to cover uniform, tournament registration and other fees.
- Each team will have 2 practices per week. The night and times of practices will vary throughout the season.
- Each team will participate in a minimum of 7 tournaments.
