Hudson Basketball Association offers programming for Girls in two main formats.  

Traveling teams run from Grades 4-8:

• Teams are made of 8-12 players
• Season Runs November - February
• Practices are 2x per week.  Usually 1.5HRS in length
• Weekend Tournaments; 7-8 per season
• Most tournaments are around the metro twin cities area
• Potential for 1 tournament being an overnight:  WI Dells, Eastern WI (Fox Valley, Green Bay)

Rec In-House Leagues are offered for Grades PK - 6th:

• Program runs from Nov - Jan
• All sessions in Hudson, no travel
• PK-4th Run Saturday mornings
• 2nd-4th have an additional evening session - Thursday
• 5th and 6th have a session 1x/week - Sundays
• These sessions will be 50-75% skills and fundamental work
• 50-25% will be small sided games i.e. 3v3, 4v4, 5v5

Note:

- For 7th and 8th graders: There isn't a rec league offered via HBA.  Basketball is offered as a middle school sport for 7th and 8th graders.  Those practices and games are after school M-F.  Information and registration for that program is through Hudson Schools.
